Objectives:
Help students practice writing. Help students think creatively by acting out something read to them.
Setup and materials:
This game can be played as a class selecting different students or as a partner game. Each student will need paper and a pencil.
How to play:
The teacher will give the topic or the vocabulary words required, then each student will write a sentence based on the topic or words. Once both partners have written their sentences, they will go to the front of the class to perform. One student will read their sentence while the other student acts it out.
Alternative method: You can also have the student act out the sentence BEFORE the sentence is read and see if any of the other students in the classroom can guess what the sentence is.
