Purpose of this worksheet:
While stroke order is essential in many Asian languages, it is not absolutely required in English. Stroke order does however foster good penmanship and writing habits. This worksheet was designed looking at most of the common references for stroke order for the English alphabet.
How to use this worksheet:
Use this worksheet as a reference guide. It is a good idea to have the students complete this worksheet regularly in the first year that they learn how to write.

Write commentsI think everyone wants to ensure that they present their best work at all times. This is so whether someone is writing in English or another language. Of course, it easier when you are writing in the language that you grew up speaking.

The W seems really inefficient and difficult. Looking at other references, I can't see anyone else suggesting this approach. Many of the other letters have the same problem, including M, V, N, and E. It seems to me that the lines should flow as much as possible and it also makes sense to go from left to right and try to reduce need to go backwards.
